Each performer will play two original songs in round 1. Our celebrity judges will pick four finalists, and then we'll have the final showdown at the end of the night. The winner goes home with a cash prize of $250.

ABOUT BOBBY RYMER
For more than two and half decades, Rymer has held senior executive positions at major record labels and publishing houses including A&R at Capitol Records in Nashville; Ronder Music International – part of the Universal Music Group empire – the world’s leading music company; Montage Music Group; Rymer Music Group, and A&M Records founded by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, which became Almo/Irving/Rondor.

Rymer was instrumental in developing the careers of Emmylou Harris, Trace Adkins, Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Jamie O’Neal, George Strait and dozens more. Much of his career has been devoted to scouting for new talent and directing teams of songwriters, who repeatedly wrote and produced chart-busting songs.
